What Age is the Course For?
The course uses the same curriculum that is used in a Montessori preschool classroom (3-6 years old). The first course is recommended to start as young as 2 years old. It is more important to choose a course based off of your child's developmental readiness rather than age. Your child will progress at their own pace through the content!Â
Which Course is Right for Your Child?
Course 1:
I Know My Letters Now!
This course is perfect for children ages 2 years+ who don't know their letter sounds yet. Your child may know their letter names, however they need to know their letter sounds to be able to read. Even if your child is not ready to learn their letters yet, this course includes pre-reading activities to prepare them!
Course 2:
I Can Read Now!
This course is for children who know their letter sounds but do not know how to read simple words like: cat, flag, sam, desk...etc. This course teaches you how to help your child blend sounds together to read simple words and even begin reading sentences.Â
Course 3:
I Understand Now!
This course is for children who can read phonetic words (words that follow the standard sound rules like cat, sun) but don't know how to read more advanced words such as (chick, whale, ball, snail). This course teaches advanced exceptions to the rules and teaches children to read books comprehensively.Â

Hi my name is Riley!
I am a 3rd generation Montessori guide along with my grandma and mom. We all have the middle name June, hence my account name Montessori by June!
Over the course of 30+ years of teaching, Grandma June has created this wildly successful reading program. She has helped hundreds of students learn to read before sending them off to kindergarten.
