A child's readiness is not based on age but rather developmental readiness and preparation. We generally see that most children are ready between ages 2-5 to start. A good indication of being ready is if your child can follow directions, talk in sentences and knows their shapes, and colors. 

The course is self-guided videos so you can go through the content as fast or slow as you want. Each child goes through the content at their own pace but the child will mostly likely master the concepts within 3 years. The curriculum mirrors the same curriculum used in the Montessori preschool class and generally takes the child 2-3 years to go from through the whole curriculum.

The course is designed to start at the very basics. A good indication that your child is ready to start is if they can participate in songs, and books with you. If they can follow directions and communicate their needs fairly well!
